All in Healing Ancestral Money Trauma
One day we’ll have to sit down for a full day and unpack vicarious trauma and how most children who grow up seeing mothers being abused by fathers, fathers being abused by mothers or parents being abused by other family members financially, emotionally, mentally and physically grow up with deep vows of loyalty to the parent (s) who were abused.
Two fears that we focus on in the #BankAccountChallenge are:
🔴 The fear of depending on others for money and our needs
🔴 The fear of people seeing that we don't have money
In one of our coaching sessions, this client had this deep aha that actually she was the block to her mom living her best life and that if she just focused on healing her traumas she could start to change how she reacted with money where her mom was concerned, which would probably free her mom and others in her family to go live their best life.
Growing up I was taught to never share anything that was in my zone of genius with people outside the family because they would bewitch me, try to take my gifts and kill me.
I often see posts that say that people who are late, don't respect your time and don't respect physical boundaries and I think we need to start talking more about the intersectionality of systemic oppression, time and money.
In 2020 a woman on Twitter shared that she was the sole breadwinner in her marriage but was shutting down her successful company that employed 15 people, because her UNEMPLOYED husband wanted her to, because he didn't feel like he could look after their toddler.
