The Power of Financial Freedom is that it Gives us Freedom of Choice
One of the things I teach and deeply believe in is the freedom to choose what we do with our time and how we spend it.
One of my favorite things to do during the day in whatever country I am in is to take long walks, followed by long afternoon lunches or teas at new #vegan spots I discover along the way.
These mini breaks are important to my well being.
Yes, it's important to make money, but…
How we make money is equally as important and equally as important is what we do with our time
I have always believed that being an entrepreneur is about more than money, it's also about building a business that gives me time freedom and allows me to help other people change their lives.
For me being an entrepreneur is about having the choice and freedom to build a business that allows me to travel and do the things I love, whilst I am alive and able to do so.
It’s about building a business that pays me well and allows me to keep expanding into new ventures.
I honestly have no clue how much time I have on this planet [although an astrologer in India did tell me the date of my death so maybe I do know], so I've always refused to believe life is about working until you retire to live the way my soul wants.
Or that life is about denying every fun desire and calling it financial savinness and pretending money isn't important.
I've also never bought into the idea that we need to choose between working long hours and making money or being broke and rested.
I believe you can have both - we can make money and be rested and relaxed.
I can spend my afternoons watching people at restaurants, taking long walks on the ocean, work 2 to 4 hours a day and still build a business that pays me and others a monthly paycheck.
It's not either/or.
Who says that there’s only one way to do life or business?
Sometimes I get caught up in the belief that there's only one way to do things and that's when I get stuck and suppress my own magic and limit the universe.
We limit the universe when we get stuck in how life should be.
I believe part of why I am on this planet is to hold space for people to choose a different way of earning money and exploring life/living.
Because honestly, is the old way working for all of us or just a select few?
Why do we keep trying to play by the old rules?
