I am reminded of a memory, a few years ago when I lived in Puerto Escondido, Mexico and my friend Lavie and I were walking down the road in Rinconanda. I got an Instagram DM from a virtual friend (originally from Canada) saying, "Are you in Puerto I think you just walked past me."
A while back, I had the pleasure of being invited to the Power Up Podcast where I was invited to talk about my experiences as an entrepreneur and nomad and how I have been able to create this life of constant travel and movement from country to country.
Let's talk about something completely different today.
Some people may or may not know this...but I am a total sci-fi nerd. I only really watch/read sci-fi ish and I spend time in reddit groups reading up on random theories and testing them.
I was in my early twenties when a man made me quit my job and life in London to live in Trinidad with him (we knew each other and had dated for a while when we both lived in Florida, USA). At the time South Africans needed visas for Trinidad (we no longer do) and he organized all that, so I thought this is real and I trusted him.
Saturday was my first workshop in #SriLanka, 9 people attended - 5 in person and 4 virtually and it was really amazing.
So, on Thursday I arrived in South Korea from Sri Lanka and was told by my school that I have 29 days (26 now) to leave my job and they are buying me out of my contract. And this impacts my visa situation.
